Corrections Policy

Pets Lover aims to publish accurate, clear, and useful pet-care information. If we discover that something is wrong or materially incomplete, we want to fix it.

How to report an error

Email editor.petslover@gmail.com with the subject line “Correction request.” Please include:

• the URL of the article;
• the statement you believe is inaccurate;
• why it may be wrong; and
• a reliable source that supports the correction, if available.

How we review requests

We compare the questioned material with the best available sources, such as veterinary schools, government agencies, professional veterinary organizations, and peer-reviewed research. We may contact the person who submitted the request if we need clarification.

What happens after review

Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or link repairs may be made without a public note when they do not change the meaning. For a meaningful factual error, we update the article and may add a correction note explaining what changed. If the original guidance could create a health or safety risk, we prioritize the review.

When evidence is uncertain or reputable sources disagree, we may revise the wording to reflect that uncertainty instead of presenting one view as settled fact.

Updates are not always corrections

An article may be updated because guidance, product availability, or research has changed. Those updates do not necessarily mean the original article was incorrect when it was published.
